TubaMan on the job!

Mark during the pre-game at the Utah/BYU basketball game on Saturday. The game was surprisingly good (i.e. competitive), and the pep band was GREAT! Posted by Hello

Party Down!

The family party is set for Saturday (5 Mar) at 5:30 p.m. We'll also be celebrating birthdays. Mom will be contacting everyone to make sure we have the list of people to sing Happy Birthday to.

Party Time...

It's been ages since we all got together, we're wondering if the Utah dwellers want to try to meet for dinner on either March 5 or March 19? Let us know which date works best and we'll get it figured out and let everyone know. - M&J

Rumor has it that Linda "Gone with the Wind" Hertz will be re-creating the Napoleon Dynamite dance to increase attendance!

Double A News

Hello and thank you for picking up Double A News This is the news of the household of the Michael Lundberg family. We really appreciate you reading this, but for now, let's get on with the weekly news!!
This week has had many activities going on. The house is starting to ge Christmas hectic! Thanksgiving has passed and now it's time for YUMMY leftovers! Hooray! The big fat magazines are coming out now...because it's Christmas time!
The family has just finished up putting on the Christmas lights, and I must say, they look absolutely lovely! I am sure we are very proud of them. It took a lot of effort to go on that big ladderand lift up your legs, I am positive. Everyone that stepped foot out of this house must be very exhausted; because everyone(exept for mom) who left the house was panting for breath the second their head came outdoors.
A final success! Allison has picked out (with the help of daddy) the most beautiful Christmas tree of the two! The other one, to whom it may go to, I am sorry. This one is much better! Let's decorate it to death! It must be the most beautiful Christmas tree on the street!! Three cheersfor our tree!! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!
Well I'm afraid that is all of our news for today! Thank you for joining us with Double A News.

Editors Note: This is a weekly newspaper that Allie & Amanda put out, thus the name Double A News. I thought this was cute so asked them to post it here. - MJL

Michelle Politicking in Denver

Michelle flew out last night with a group of students to recruit votes for Bush in the battleground state of Colorado. She was responsible to arrange travel for 30 or 40 other college republicans. She blew into SLC, voted absentee and then hit the airport wearing a tee shirt that said, "I'm Bushed!"

A BIG Thanks To Michael & Mark

A big shout of thanks goes out to Michael & Mark for going on the offensive and helping me get the two new windows put in the baby's room. For the record, he called me and scheduled it both times. It is very much appreciated by Angela and I. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You will never know how much it means to us to live so close by.

Blast from the Past

Here is a page from Grandpa Pack's journal that I thought would interest everyone. Grandpa recounts the Family Home Evening where Dad announced that Mom was expecting Marshall. Neat to have! I'm still working on getting it all scanned and distributed to everyone. Posted by Hello

Tomorrow's Concert

Lundberg Family Web Log

Saturday evening Allison and Amanda will be playing their violins in the conference center. We're proud of them and look forward to the concert. We wish we were allowed to video tape the event. A couple of years ago, the suzuki group played in the Tabernacle and there was no room at all.

Front yard prior to new walks and grass Posted by Hello

Utes now in Top 10

The Utes are now in the top ten with a winnable game against North Carolina this weekend. What a way for Mark to experience each game!

Time for a front yard!

After more than a year, we're ready to put in our front yard. The steps are:
1. Tear out the old sidewalk from the porch to the driveway
2. trench for sprinklers
3. Form and pour the new sidewalks (new configuration)
4. lay pipe & sprinklers
5. lay sod
6. PARTY!

I'll take and post a few progress pictures.

One of my favorite photos. I hope my boys will look back and realize they are the quality men they are because they learned to work when they were young. Posted by Hello

Kids Say The Darndest Things

Angela and I are treated to near daily drop-dead laughter from the funny things Samuel continues to come up with.

It is in that spirit that I will begin a weekly post called "Kids Say The Darndest Things."

Last week when I was walking in the door from work he ran up to me and gave me a big hug, from that point on the exchange went something like this:

Samuel: [while hugging my legs] "DADDY!! I missed you all day!

Grant: [Bending down to hug him back] "I missed you too."

Samuel: "What did you do at work today?"

Grant: [Pointing up to my head] "I thought of you all day up here."

Samuel: [With an inquizitive look on his face, then pointing to his knees] "And I thought of you down here all day too!"
